A fabric of manufactured fiber, most commonly polyester, with good drape, luster and a soft hand to imitate the look of silk and typically costs less to produce.
Despite a generally similar appearance, genuine silk has unique features that are distinguishable from artificial silk. However, in some cases art silk can be passed off as real silk to unwary buyers.

In 2015 we moved into the Tilly Mill Professional Center.
In 2019 we opened Atlanta Draperies in a new street-level studio in the same center.
